Thanks man, I did use a little bit of blur on his right (our left) armpit to signify a bit more motion. I just didn't want to blur the crap out of it and lose some of the detailed linework that i did, almost like it wouldn't of mattered what lines I threw down if i did that.
A little trick to resolve that comes from manga...
The power comes in a soft blur to one edge of the hardline of one side of each building and then blur from one side of the character's body from the trailing side, opposite the direction of movement/motion.
So for this one, the blur would have reflected motion from the top right to the bottom left. Then, the character headed in that same direction only blurs trailed behind him... It would be a much more mild effect but with more impact.
